The objectives of the STCGW

  1. To encourage the ownership and selective breeding of purebred Scottish Terriers.
  2. To develop, to perfection, the natural high qualities of the breed as described in the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club.
  3. To foster improvement of the individual Scottish Terrier by developing, sharing and making available all information to his master toward this end.
  4. To advance the interests of the breed and of the fancy and to foster sportsmanship and fellowship among its members.
  5. To promote the breed through the sponsorship of sanctioned matches and specialty shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
